Allan’s face was drained of color. He stared at jian in disbelief, caught off guard by her reaction.

His voice shook slightly. “She’s sick. She’ll leave again once she recovers. Then I’ll give you an even grander wedding ”

Their wedding was only one week away. Yet Adrian went from being at Yvette’s OB–GYN appointment to discussing an even grander wedding with her. Did he really Think she wouldn’t dump himatter he two–timed ber?
Adrian’s expression darkened further when he heard her words, “She’s not pregnant. She’s

This was after two years of relationship, and two years of calm waters
Adrian had to a small rip in their bond over Yvette. Now, Juliana was shredding it completely. After all, relationships demanded effort from both sides, so what was the point of her trying alone?
Adrian’s face darkened. “Don’t go after her!”
Juliana let out a cold laugh. Her hand was already on the door handle.
Adrian gritted his teeth. “Can you even afford to cancel this wedding? Or do you think the Larson family will have your back?”
