The liberating death finding new love Ch 11

Chapter 11

Joshua’s memories came flooding back. It only took a few seconds of looking at that notebook. Everything he had forgotten came rushing back to him. A splitting headache nearly drove him mad. The memories of the past few days intertwined with his old ones, making his heart ache unbearably

When he realized Evelyn was gone, never to return, the pain was almost unbearable. He couldn’t believe what he had done these past few days and how he could have hurt Evelyn deeply. He had killed Evelyn. Killed the woman he loved more than life itself.”

Joshua, listen to me.Zafrielle panicked, desperately reaching out to grab him. Joshua shook her hand off, his face contorted in disgust, recoiling from her touch.}

Joshua, don’t you want me anymore? You said you loved me most.Zafrielle’s tears flowed freely, her fear making her sob even

harder

Joshua stared at her. His eyes were cold, devoid of any warmth. Zafrielle, you know exactly what you’ve done while I was suffering from amnesia! If it weren’t for you, Evelyn wouldn’t have died!

Joshua, listen to me, Evelyn’s death had nothing to do with me. She was sick andand you said you loved me, so”

Joshua’s head buzzed, especially when he heard Evelyn’s name. His whole body trembled with agitation and grief. He instinctively clutched his chest, a raw ache in his eyes. Stop it! I don’t want to see you right now!Joshua turned to leave

Zafrielle immediately lunged forward, grabbing his leg with all her strength to stop him. Joshua, you can’t leave! Did you forget? We’re getting engaged today! If you leave, what am I supposed to do?”

Joshua lowered his gaze, his expression dark and menacing. His voice was icecold. Let me go.

Zafrielle didn’t move. She looked up at him with pleading eyes, her once flawless makeup ruined by tears.

I’ll say it one more time. Let. Go.Something was terrifying in his tone

For a brief moment, Zafrielle froze. Then, she reluctantly loosened her grip. She watched as Joshua walked away without even a glance back. Fury boiled inside her. She clenched her fists so tightly that her nails dug into her palms, but she didn’t feel the pain. All she could feel was jealousy. Jealousy toward Evelyn because she could steal her man even after she died
