“No need,” Quinn pulled her arm back, her cold, indifferent gaze like she was looking at a stranger. “I haven’t needed it for a long time.”
Then, Quinn took out her phone and opened the screen. “In the last half hour, the Fairchild family company’s stock has plummeted. You should be worried about the Fairchild family.”
At this, Colton was hit hard. He rushed in front of Quinn, blaming the Fairchild family’s downfall on Quinn’s livestream, and arrogantly questioned her.
“Why did you start this livestream? What benefit does the downfall of the Fairchild family bring you?”
Quinn responded flatly, “Did you ever think of this outcome when you pushed me to the edge?”
Colton quickly shifted his hope to Norman, who was standing behind Quinn.
“Grandpa, the Fairchild family was built by you. Can you really bear to watch it go bankrupt? Can you bear to see your grandson sleeping on the streets?”
Norman’s beard twitched, and after a long pause, he said, “If it weren’t for the fact that you’re my grandson, you would have been locked up long ago. Olive’s actions have your share too, right?”
“Grandpa, what are you talking about? I’ve never been involved,” Colton backed away in terror.
“But you turned a blind eye.”
At these words, Colton was silent for a long time.
“Colton, if you really have the ability, then save the Fairchild family. If not, ending up penniless is just what you deserve.”
Colton was unwilling to accept such a fate, desperately pleading, “Grandpa, I’m your real grandson!”
“I’ve seen you grow up, and I know you’re just overly focused on your career. But why did you keep allowing Olive to harm me and Quinn over and over again? Did you ever consider the fact that you are my own grandson at the time?”
Norman’s heart ached as he thought about it, and he swayed slightly, feeling unsteady.
Xavier was stuttering, unable to make sense of things. His mind was still on Olive, who had been taken away earlier, and the memory of her last cry calling his name echoed in his ears.
Not far away, Marcus, dressed in a well–tailored black casual suit and custom–made leathe towards them with slow, steady steps, then stopped.

He then kindly explained on behalf of Colton, “Mr. Norman, because you once said you would leave half of your assets to Quinn.”
“Is that really true?” Norman asked, pained, looking at his grandson, who was now half a head taller than
him.

“Quinn, take me away. I don’t want to see any of them again. The Fairchild family doesn’t have such ungrateful people.”

Betty understood. With this departure, they were strangers, and she couldn’t bear the thought of parting ways like this.
She ran a few steps forward, mustering up courage to ask, “Quinn, can you really let go? Didn’t you always want a family?”
“I already have one. Anywhere with Grandpa is home. You’re no longer my family
Quinn and Norman exchanged a smile and walked away under everyone’s gaze.
In the car, Quinn and Norman sat in the backseat, Marcus drove, and Zayden sat in the front passenger seat.
There was a moment of silence.
Quinn replayed the entire situation in her mind and leaned forward to ask, “Marcus, how did you get the evidence from Zack and the others?”
From what she remembered, Marcus had always been a gentle and refined person. Though sometimes hard to read, Quinn had always thought of Marcus as someone with strong principles.
But Zack and Ethan were both reckless men. She couldn’t fathom how Marcus had gotten them to talk.
Upon hearing the question, Marcus glanced at her through the rearview mirror, his brows slightly raised, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips. His eyes were particularly charming.
“That wasn’t really my doing. Mr. Grant caught Ethan and sent him to the police station, where he was interrogated. I just went to check the progress.”
What he said was true, but if Ethan and Zack were truly afraid of the police, they wouldn’t have been so brazen.
Quinn felt that the Marcus she hadn’t seen in so long was not as simple as he appeared. She felt that the two men in front of her had both changed, and she couldn’t figure them out anymore.
Seeing Quinn’s suspicion, Marcus sighed and pretended to be reproachful.
“I’m just trying to help, but some people not only don’t appreciate it but also doubt me. As expected, in this world…”
“Hey, stop! I do appreciate what you’ve done.” Quinn straightened up. “Thank you for your help this time. I truly appreciate it.”
“Is that all you’re going to say?”
“Of course not. I’ll definitely treat you to a meal.”
The two of them spoke freely, and the fatigue of the entire day faded away as dopamine flowed.
