Aarum graded my wrist with a vice–like grip, his eyes glowing with fury
“You know how much I despise people who badly others. I didn’t go back to the packhouse with you, and you went behind my back to stir things up with my parents, making them humiliate Ellie. Now she’s swallowed vampire toxin. Are you happy few?”
My wrist felt as if it was abred to shep, and my face turned pale
In my past life, because I sealed the mate bond with Aaron, Ellie couldn’t bear it and took her own life a month later, using a knife soaked in vampire polson. Aaron, unable to find a blood donor in time, had watched her bleed out.
He hated me for it, and he never forgave me, even until his dying breath.
Bot in this life, I hadn’t sealed the mate bond with him, so why would Ellie still commit suicide?

I had been wondering how to fulfill his third regret.
Now, the opportunity had come to me,
I looked at him. “So…you came to ask for my blood?” Aaron froze, as though he hadn’t expected me to respond that way. He then coldly replied, “You think I wouldn’t? You made Ellie suffer, and now you drove Ellie to this. It’s your debt to pay.”
He dragged me to Ellie’s home,
Ellie was lying on the bed, barely conscious. The pack doctor pulled out a knife and made a shallow cut on my arm. The sharp pain spread through my body, and I groaned softly.
The pack doctor looked pleased. “Ava was once poisoned by a vampire, but because she took the antidote, her blood can neutralize the vampire poison. Her blood can save Ellie, But saving Ellie requires taking a large amount of Ava’s blood–about half of it. I’m not sure if she can handle it.”
“No!” Aaron’s face turned pale, his brows furrowed deeply, “Taking half of her blood is like taking half her life. She won’t survive that. Can’t someone
else’s blood work?”
The pack doctor looked troubled, “Others‘ blood won’t work as well. If you refuse, Alpha… prepare for the worst. The donor won’t die. But the poisoned one… certainly will.”
Aaron’s jaw clenched, his gaze locked on Ellie,
I saw the concern in his eyes and turned to the pack doctor. “I’m willing to save her. Take the blood.”
The pack doctor looked at Aaron. “But your body will weaken.”
I smiled, “It’s alright. I’ll recover. Saving her is what matters.”
Aaron glared at me intensely. In the end, he furrowed his brow and covered my eyes with his hand.
“Consider this a favor I owe you. I’ll repay you someday.”
After he left, the pack doctor began drawing my blood.
The knife sank into my flesh, and with each cut, the pain became sharper. I suddenly remembered the times I had spent with Aaron.
When I was eight, orphaned and bullied by the pack members, they called me an orphan with no one to back me up.
Aaron had chased them away and comforted me.
“Don’t be afraid, I’ll protect you.”
He had always kept his promise.
Even until his last breath, he had been there to protect me,
How could I not love him?
But I knew, from the moment I was reborn, I had to sever all ties with him, no matter the cost.
The blood flowed steadily from me, and warm blood dripped from the corner of my mouth. The pain made me faint, but I faintly remembered the last
words he had said in my past life.
“Ava, if I had never met you in this life… how much better would it have been…”
Tears streamed down my face as I weakly smiled.
