Catherine paused for a moment, and when she turned around, she realized that the person calling out to her was a former partner who had been begging to collaborate with Keagan. She couldn’t help but sigh in her heart.
She didn’t want to reveal her identity and was thinking about how to deceive others. She glanced at the brother following Dayton and burst into laughter. “Catherine? Does her entire outfit cost more than three hundred dollars?”
As soon as these words were spoken, they immediately caused a burst of laughter.

He laughed for a moment and intended to rub her head, but she dodged and he could only helplessly explain, “What are you thinking? I just don’t want you to be wronged.”
“But there is a difference in our social status, and we will always face this situation. Hasn’t your family ever pressured you to get married?” Catherine looked at him, trying to detect a hint of guilt in his expression. However, even though he heard the words “get married,” Dayton’s face only stiffened for a moment before quickly returning to his usual demeanor. “Catherine, as long as you know that the person I love is you, that’s enough. As for other issues, I will find a way to solve them.”
If she hadn’t observed carefully, she really wouldn’t have noticed anything unusual about him.

Catherine paused and looked at him, revealing a smile. “Because I had other work that I wanted to do next.”
