“There’s only one person in my heart and that’s Carrie. I hope you understand that.“>
Sebastian’s words struck Sunny like a bolt of lightning. For a moment, she froze, her eyes were glistening with tears.
She and Sebastian had known each other since childhood. His parents were always busy with work, so he frequently ate at Sunny’s house to eat and this made them become close friends.
However, everything changed after a tragic incident. That day, Sunny’s mother was cooking in the kitchen while Sunny and Sebastian were playing with mud and sand in the yard. A serial killer on the run stumbled upon their home. He was fleeing from the police.}
At the sight of the strange, dangerous man, Sunny and Sebastian instinctively ran toward the house. However, they were too weak. Their strength was not enough to fight off the man who forced open the door with a single hand.”
Hearing the commotion in the living room, Sunny’s mother rushed out to find Sebastian shielding Sunny with his tiny frame. He was trying to protect her from harm.
However, the man had already pulled his knife and drove straight toward Sebastian’s chest.
Seeing this, Sunny’s mother screamed, ran over and took the knife that was meant for Sebastian. As a result, the sharp knife plunged deep into her body and her blood quickly pooled on the floor.
By the time the police and ambulance arrived, Sunny’s mother had died from excessive blood loss while Sunny was clinging to her mother’s body and sobbing.
Sebastian’s parents rushed over there and kept apologizing to Sunny. Sunny, who was not ten years old at the time, could not say anything except crying.§
Then Sebastian said to Sunny, “Don’t cry anymore. No matter what happens, I’ll protect you from now on and if you want anything, even the stars in the sky, I’ll get them for you.“>

What is going on? Why won’t Sunny tell him directly if she wants to surprise him? Why did she ask Carrie to relay it to him? Unless is something fishy going on here.”
