Chapter 22
After some serious debating, Wilbur made up his mind to go for it. At least, he would still get to sleep with Simone.
If he turned her down now, he would end up in the same boat as Cameron. He’d have to watch the woman he adored sleep with another man.
Blushing, Wilbur responded bashfully, “You don’t need to look for anyone else. I can give you what you need.”
Simone was taken aback. “You’re offering that kind of service, too?”
Just a minute ago, he was lecturing her seriously, so she thought he was a proper man.
Wilbur quickly explained, “If anyone else wants that kind of service, I’m not doing it. But since you’re so gorgeous, I’ll make an exception this time.”
Simone was amused. “You’re smooth with your words. You must be great at making women smile.”
Wilbur waved his hand. “Nope. I don’t just flirt with anyone. I only do that for the people I like.”
As he spoke, his face turned red. Unfortunately, Simone didn’t believe him one bit. After all, Cameron had said the same thing before.
Simone was sensitive and feeling vulnerable. Unlike some other people, she couldn’t just brush off the hurt and jump into a new relationship right away. She was like a skittish turtle, cautiously sticking her head out. The moment she got hurt, she would immediately retreat into her shell and never come out again.
Plus, the hurt he had inflicted on her was so intense that it couldn’t heal in such a short time.
Simone even felt like she would never heal from it. That was why she suggested a friends–with–benefits arrangement. She had given up on love.
At that moment, she believed that sex and love were separated. They didn’t need to exist together anymore.
Soon enough, the night took over. With a heavy heart, Cameron pushed open the door to Simone’s bedroom.
In the bedroom, Simone and Wilbur had already showered and were getting ready to start.
Wilbur was a little nervous. This was his first time, and he already had to do it with someone watching. Everything felt insane.
But he still tried to calm himself down. After all, he wasn’t about to look weak in front of his love rival. Simone instructed Wilbur, “Check his pockets. See if he’s carrying a phone or a recorder on him.” Wilbur did as he was told and carefully searched Cameron. The only thing Cameron had was his phone.
Knowing phones could record and film, Wilbur took it from Cameron. After taking it, the real fun began.
Simone took the lead and kissed Wilbur on the lips. His breath immediately quickened as he pulled her closer and pressed his lips harder against hers.
Their kiss grew more intense as they embraced each other, For Cameron, watching it was even worse than dying.
He realized that was what it felt like to watch the person he loved sleeping with someone else. It hurt so badly, as if a rusty, blunt knife was slowly shredding his heart.
Simone and Wilbur had barely started, and they hadn’t even gotten to the main part, but Cameron couldn’t take it anymore.
Cameron desperately wanted to yell stop, but when he opened his mouth, he couldn’t get the words out. If he did, he would lose Simone for good.
He spent the whole night torn between being betrayed by her and losing her forever. He did not know what to do. The painful ordeal lasted all night, and it wasn’t until dawn that Wilbur and she finally stopped.
Wilbur was acting all spoiled. “Let’s do it again, Mona. Come on. Just this one last time. I promise.”
After all, this was his first time, and he was already addicted to it.
But Simone was too exhausted to keep up with Wilbur and waved her hand. “That’s enough for today. If we keep going, I’m seriously going to die.”
